So we have passed another Midsummer and it has been a slow start in the Garden, since the long period os snow last winter,with very low temperatures  Then followed by a very hot dry spell so dry infact  we had to bring water up from the river for the small seedling which were showing signs of stress.

But as usual things have balanced out  a bit now  and the rains have come ,and so the garden has flourished, Already we are eating its produce, Over the past few weeks since last years supply dwindled we have missed the tastes that only home grown food can provide..
