The Mountain Inn, Coolaney

The active retirement group from Ballintougher are a fine example to us all. They know how to enjoy themselves. Kathleen on the left has just retired as post mistress, two ladies at the back are celebrating birthdays, all sing for us as does 87yr old Brigid on the right. Angela joins Jimmy and Pat for a few songs, she is entered for the women's mini marathon for the 25th year in June, what an achievement. Best of luck Angela.

Here two of the ladies sing Mary from Lough Ree, I hope it is passed on as it is a mighty one and should not dissappear.

John Diamond, joined here by Mary the owner of the Mountain Inn and his parents. John won two medals in the Special Olympics

The group organise days out during the year, today began with a meal, then some tunes and a few drinks with a coach to collect them. Most are widows, but there are a few good men too.
